Dönen Pansiyon





An image from the interactive audio & visual installation ‘Dönen Pansiyon’, a collaboration between artists Ilayda Akarca and Flo. 



Dönen Pansiyon is a site-specific, interactive installation of sound and images.

It explores migration, home and memory, in fragments, and reflects on the dissonant process of displacement, bringing together images from on-going body of works by Ilayda, and the sound design by Flo, from field recordings between artists’ travels across borders and time.

The installation is currently on show at Spike Island, first floor stairwell.
